For sailors who have participated in the Optimist Race Team, 420 Race Team or have been in the 420 Learn to Race classes for at least four sessions. Students in this class must sail their own Laser in class. Students may sail Full Rig, Laser Radial and Laser 4.7. The curriculum for this class includes learning how to rig, sail and race Lasers. Special emphasis will be put on learning Laser sail controls and upwind and down wind sailing techniques. Sailors from this class will be encouraged to race their boats in local Laser regattas. Laser Race meets on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:30AM-12:00PM and Friday afternoons from 1:00pm-4:30pm.
