NBYC welcomes visiting boaters to Padanaram Harbor and historic Padanaram Village.


We extend to Skipper and Crew a cordial welcome to Padanaram Harbor and the facilities of the New Bedford Yacht Club. Please register at the Club office on your first trip ashore to obtain a guest card.

A Club Use Fee of $90.00 per night must be paid upon arrival which allows visitors by sea use of a member mooring (if available), the Club launch, facilities and dining room. Guests of members receive a discounted rate with advance notice by a sponsoring member.

Visitors by sea may have access to New Bedford Yacht Club for 3 nights per season, or 7 nights per season if a guest of a member. Visitors staying in Padanaram Harbor for more than 14 days must obtain a Town of Dartmouth Waterways sticker.

Mark Dorman

NBYC Waterfront Director


New Bedford Yacht Club's Waterfront Director, Mark Dorman, oversees all waterfront activity and can usually be found in or around his office at the entrance to the north dock.

Yacht clubs wishing to make NBYC a cruising destination should contact Mark by email ([email protected]) with their requests. (All arrangements must receive NBYC Board approval.)

Docks

Visitor slip rental fees are $4.00/ft per night, June 20 through Labor Day, and $3.00/ft prior to and after the previous dates. Reservations may only be made through Dockwa.

Moorings

A limited number of moorings may be available. Requests can be made through Dockwa. Visitors entering the harbor should proceed to Nun #12 and hail NBYC Launch on Channel 68. If no moorings are available, anchoring is permitted in the southwest corner of the harbor, across from the breakwater, with permission from the Dartmouth Harbormaster. No rafting is allowed unless approved by the Harbormaster.
